Management believes that this feature may represent a substantial magmatic intrusive complex and a favorable setting to host Cu, Ni, Pt, Pd mineralization similar to the past producing CVRD-Inco Shebandowan deposit (8.7mt 2.06% Ni, 1.0% Cu, 3g/t 2PGE +Au) now under option to North American Palladium Ltd., located approximately 35 kilometers to the east of Buda.
RJK contracted Geotech Ltd. to fly it’s VTEM geophysical system at 100 meter flight line spacing to better define the magnetic highs and existing EM anomalies already located during the 1991 survey, as well as survey the remaining area which contains additional magnetic anomalies outlined by a historic regional airborne magnetic survey. RJK was informed of the potential of this feature by a local prospector with considerable knowledge of the area. Recent prospecting has revealed mafic-ultramafic rocks containing elevated copper values.
